## Explanation of the modifiers: - Restore original NG+ stats: By default, the mod rebalances NG+ cycles to make earlier enemies more challenging and increases their rune rewards. It also removes the double multiplier that is applied to standard physical damage in NG+2 and beyond. Using this modifier will restore the normal game's stats in NG+ cycles. - Item randomizer optimization: Meant to be used along with thefifthmatt's Elden Ring Item and Enemy Randomizer (https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/428). The modifier removes most open world item locations to greatly reduce the amount of items being randomized out of dungeons and into the open world. I strongly recommend not randomizing key items, in any case. It also includes a set of alternate text files (msg) that allows using the "Kale's hints" function in the randomizer, which can otherwise result in an error. These text files remove the customized names for Leyndell Sites of Grace which exist in both regular Leyndell and Ashen Leyndell. - Restore NG+ stats + randomizer optimization: Combines the previous two modifiers. ## How to use: 1. If using Mod Engine 2, set it up first with the default version of Dungeon Crawler Standard and verify it works properly. Skip this step if you're using ME3. 2. Open the folder for the modifier you want to use, select all elements inside, and copy them. 3a. If using Mod Engine 2: Paste the files inside ME2's "mod" folder, overwriting the existing ones when prompted. 3b. If using ME3: Paste the files inside Dungeon Crawler's "mod" folder, overwriting the existing ones when prompted. ## How to disable: To go back to the default behavior for the mod, simply copy the elements which are inside the "_Default settings" folder, and paste them into the "mod" folder that you're using (Mod Engine 2's if you're using that, or Dungeon Crawler's own mod folder if you're using ME3), overwriting all files when prompted.
